BIG THANK YOU TO KIDSPORT VOLUNTEERS!

Posted by CMHA Administrator on Aug 17 2014 at 06:26PM PDT in 2013-2014 Season

Hi All,

Huge thanks to all who were able to make it out to help with the sale Friday and Saturday. While the overall numbers were a little lower this year, they are still AWESOME! We had over 1,300 people come by, collected 5 large boxes of food for the SHARE food bank and raised just under $18,000!

Thanks again for all your hard work and commitment. For those who weren’t able to make it, we know you were there in spirit!

On Sept 6th, we’re going to have a separate hockey equipment sale from 10-1pm at the warehouse where we store the equipment – 1371A Kebet way (off the Maryhill Bypass). We’ll be setting up in the morning at about 8:00am. If you’re interested in helping with that one, please let me know as we’ll be looking for volunteers for that one too.

Our next big sale will most likely be on Saturday, March 28th at Riverside Secondary – potentially a little later this year because to an earlier spring break than usual. We’ll be sure to give you lots of notice.

Lastly, if you’re interested in helping with the Operation Red Nose safe ride home service leading up to Christmas this year – our second biggest fundraiser – please let me know too.

Thanks again for all your help!

Chris Wilson
