As announced at the CMHA Annual General Meeting, after conducting a comprehensive interview process, a candidate has been selected for our Director of Hockey Development position which will be responsible for the implementation of the CMHA Development Plan and Programs as well as the CMHA “A” Programs (including coaches and evaluations).

CMHA is pleased to announce that the successful candidate is Doneau Menard.

Doneau has a long history with Coquitlam Minor Hockey beginning with his minor hockey days as a player with CMHA. He has played in both the BCHL and WHL as well as coached Junior “A”. He has also served as Head Coach for BC Hockey Best Ever teams winning silver and champion. He has most recently spent the last 8 years as Head Coach for the Major Midget team, the Vancouver North East Chiefs.

Doneau is very excited to be able to return to his minor hockey roots where he grew up and looks forward to working with CMHA coaches, referees and players to further develop our Association.

We are looking forward to the addition of Doneau to our CMHA team.
