Colin is presented the Earle Sinkie Trophy as the most Valuable Player in Juvenile Division in the Pacific Coast Amateur Hockey Association. The Award is presented by Earle Sinkie and the Juvenile A1 coach, Doug Shantz.
The Award is named after Earle Sinkie who is the great uncle of a current CMHA player. Earle was one of the founding fathers of Juvenile hockey in the Lower Mainland and was instrumental in starting the Juvenile Scholarship tournament and still attends everyone of them.
The Earle Sinkie Trophy recognizes the player in the PCAHA Juvenile Division adjudged to have demonstrated the qualities of leadership, sportsmanship, and contribution to his/her team and Association. The recipient is selected by the Executive Committee on the recommendation of the Juvenile Managing Director.
Coquitlam Minor Hockey Association is proud to have young men like Colin representing our community and extends their thanks to Earle Sinkie as well!
