Please find attached the Annual General Meeting package which consists of the Notice of the Annual General Meeting as well as a CMHA Executive Board Nomination form. The Notice indicates all the positions which will be up for election this year. Once completed, your nomination form should be sent to the Association Secretary at: firstname.lastname@example.org. We will also be accepting nominations from the floor during the AGM.
The general descriptions and responsibilities for each position can be found in the CMHA Constitution which is accessible on the CMHA website under the “About CMHA” tab. You can also email our Administrator, Deb Harper, email@example.com who can provide information on these positions.
Please note that only CMHA Members in Good Standing are eligible to vote at the Annual General Meeting or to run for positions on the Executive. There will be a sign in table where you will receive your voting card. A Member in Good Standing is defined as a registered player over the age of 19 and any parent/legal guardian of a registered player under the age of 19 who has no outstanding debts to the Association and is not currently suspended. A maximum of two legal guardians/parents per player family are entitled to vote regardless of how many players are in the family. Lifetime Members are also entitled to vote. Voting by proxy is not permitted.
Executive Meeting Minutes and the Financial Statements for the meeting will be uploaded to the CMHA website shortly and a notice will be sent once they are available. These documents will only be accessible to members who log into the website, hence if you do not have your TeamPages account set up, please email our Administrator to have an account created.
We strongly encourage all CMHA Members to attend this meeting and to be involved in the running of your Association. A minimum of 50 members must be present for the meeting to proceed.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
