Camps will be held August 8-11, 2013 at 11 locations around the province and is open to midget aged players born in 1996, 1997 and 1998. Camp locations and schedules will be posted to the BC Major Midget League website at a later date.

Register now –

Interested players must register for the zone in which their parents reside. For a description of the zone boundaries, please go to the About Section on the Major Midget League website. The deadline to register is July 31, 2013.

Players will be evaluated at the three (3) day camp by team officials and BC Hockey High Performance evaluators. Final selections of the 20 players, including two (2) goaltenders which make up each Major Midget team will be made by September 15, 2013.

Evaluation camps are run every year in order to evaluate players and help select the following year’s teams. Camp registration is designated as “open” registration, meaning that the number of players who can attend each camp is unlimited.

The BC Hockey Major Midget League was established in 2004 to provide elite level 15, 16 and 17 year olds an opportunity to play within their own age group at a high level and be developed for the next level of hockey. These teams have an opportunity each year to compete for the National Midget Championship.
