Thank you for a sucessful Kidsport Sale

Posted by CMHA Administrator on Mar 11 2013 at 01:18PM PDT in 2011/2012 Season

Wow another super Kidsport Used Equipment Sale… with an amazing volunteer turnout. This event is such a success due the tremendous community support, specifically our great volunteers! This sale really helps ensure that all kids can play in the Tri-Cities!

Here are some fast facts for you….

This year 1355 people attended up from 1254 people last spring….

Donations at the front door were $439.86 + 8 boxes of donated food for the Share food back (this is an amazing increase from last sale)…

Number of items sold was 1610 up from the 1500 last spring…

Number of volunteer hours 545.1hrs or the equivalent of 57-8hr days…

and finally the amount of money raised was $16,500 up from the $12,000 raised last spring and closing in on the summer sale’s record of $17,000!

The results are overwhelming, we should all be so proud to be a part of this successful communinity events that will benefit many kids by allowing them to get/stay in the game!

Pretty Awesome…Thanks for all of your efforts and contributions! A special thank you to CMHA members Andrea McDonald, Lana Morrison, Lyle Haylock, Dave Holmes & Mike Takemori! It is through efforts of people like this that more kids can take part in our great game of hockey!
