Referee Abuse

Just a reminder that CMHA has a zero tolerance policy toward referee abuse. Please remember, that for the most part, these are children, still learning, just as your children are still learning the game of hockey. Please be positive to all participants in this great game – players and officials alike and encourage your fellow teammates and other parents to do the same.

We all recognize that passion is part of the game but we need to direct our passion to a positive end.

If there is something you disagree with or feel was an unfair assessment, there is a referee review request process in place and we request you follow that rather than confronting an official. You can find the link here:

There is also a referee feedback form where you can provide feedback (both constructive and complimentary) to our RIC. You can find that here:

Thank you all for working together to make this a great experience for all our children.
