Atom Development Program

Posted by Debra Harper on Jun 06 2018 at 10:01AM PDT in 2017-2018 Season

In 2017/2018 CMHA implemented our new Atom Development Program (Intro to Rep). Throughout the program we gathered information and documented processes, and at the end of the season conducted an online survey for the participants. We received an excellent response rate and we thank the participants who provided valuable and constructive feedback on their experiences.

In response to this feedback as we enter registration for the upcoming season, we are in the midst of making changes on the program. Together with our Hockey Directors, we are excited and engaged in this process and envision this as a pioneering methodology for player development that will showcase CMHA as a leader in this segment of the minor hockey population.

Prior to the start of the season, watch for our Parent Handbook that will guide you through our new program. It will provide our mission statement, philosophy, objectives and structures that will create the framework for the important work of developing our players.

We appreciate your continued support and we are grateful for your feedback. All of us are always striving to make CMHA a stronger and more positive community for our children and together we will accomplish that.
