Tournament Director needed - yesterday!

Dear CMHA Members,

CMHA runs tournaments for each division, some are financially successful and serve as fundraisers for the team and others cover the cost of the tournament so our children can have the thrill and pride of playing in a home tournament.

This position also seeks out tournaments and sends in applications in advance of the season for the most desirable tournaments for our teams as it is usually too late by September.

The Tournament Director will work closely with the Sponsorship Director to maximize our revenues and both will encourage and expand on our Sponsor relationships.

We need a Tournament Director to oversee and manage these tournaments on an annual basis. We would like to see someone commit to a minimum of 2 – 3 years. The hours range but can be as high as 20+ hours a week in peak periods.

As this is a critical role in our Association, if we do not receive a parent volunteer stepping up for this role, the Board has confirmed that we will be sending a call out for this role as a commission based structure.
