COQUITLAM EXPRESS SEEKS BILLETS

Posted by CMHA Administrator on May 31 2012 at 09:02AM PDT in 2011/2012 Season

We are once again in search of wonderful, caring homes to place our players in during their time with the Express. The players arrive mid-August and can remain with a family anywhere from a few days to mid-May depending on their situation and how far the team progresses into the playoffs. It is important that the players be placed in the best environment possible and it is our belief that the families of Coquitlam Minor Hockey would be a wonderful addition to the Express family as we entrust our players to them. All billet families receive season tickets for each member of their immediate family as well as a small monthly stipend of $360 to help cover the costs associated with having a player(s) stay with them.

We are in desperate need of homes that can accomodate 2 players but would still love to hear from families that would be interested in having 1 player. I can attest to the fact that having 2 players stay in your home is a lot of fun and maybe even easier at times, not that having the one is hard, they just entertain each other and have someone on hand who understands the ups and downs of trying to compete at the Jr “A” level better than someone who has not gone through the process.
