Attention: Notice of Venue and time change******
Dear Parents

BC Hockey, in partnership with the Vancouver Canucks, are excited to announce the launch of a new educational program called Sportsmanship Starts in the Stands which encourages positive behaviour by hockey parents in the rink.

Sportsmanship Starts in the Stands was developed to address the behaviours and attitudes that have become a negative influence in the game of hockey in BC. The intent of the program is to ensure that the environment at BC Hockey events and initiatives is positive for everyone. It was also developed to ensure the level of parent expectations was consistent across the province.

Coquitlam Minor Hockey will conduct a short presentation at 7:00 pm & 8:00 pm on Friday October 2, 2015, in Centennial Room at Poirier Community Centre (630 Poirier St). This is across the street from Poirier Rec Centre.

All parents are requested to attend on one of the mentioned times for this short presentation.

If you attended the New Parent meeting on Wednesday, Sept 16th then you need not attend this one.

All parents will be required to be complete the Code of Conduct form available at the following link.

Completion of the form is mandatory. Failure to complete the form may result in sanctioning from BC Hockey and the inability of your child to play hockey. Please take the time to complete the form today.
